As the most successful Hypnotherapist in Northern Ireland, Alan has been put to the test on numerous occasions over the years by regional television and the local press for various topics ( both here and in Spain). This includes his Fast Track  Stop Smoking Hypnosis, Weight Control Hypnosis, Overcome the Fear of Flying with Hypnosis, Phobias, Panic Attacks , etc.

Alan was featured on Ulster Television's "Ask Anne" programme, whereby the presenter supplied a candidate who wished to give up smoking using Hypnosis. The first part of the programme was devoted to agoraphobia  ( the fear of open spaces )   and how Alan had helped a psychologist overcome agoraphobia using Hypnosis, the second part was the candidate who wished to give up smoking by Hypnosis.

The whole hypnotherapy process was filmed, and a week later the candidate and Alan appeared on the programme to discuss the results which were very successful.
At the end of the series the candidate was again contacted and reported that he was still not smoking four and a half months later and had found it quite easy to do so!

Alan was again put to the test on Ulster Televisions consumer programme "Check it out" using a completely new technique that he introduced into Northern Ireland, called a Mindseye Courier. This is a revolutionary relaxation system from America, which harnesses light and sound science. The computerised audio-visual component system very rapidly creates the state of deep relaxation used in Hypnosis / Hypnotherapy, produced traditionally by much slower techniques such as meditation, yoga, traditional Hypnotherapists, visualisation, etc.

Through synchronised light and sound patterns scientifically programmed, the Mindseye Courier helps with behaviour modification involving, lose weight, stop smoking, relaxation, phobias, stress, blushing, etc. Once again the outcome of this television programme was very successful.

Alan's equipment has been on loan to hospitals, doctors and dentists for use on their own patients, with very good results. As a further aid to the already high success rate of Alan's Stop Smoking Hypnosis and Weight Control Hypnosis sessions he introduced into the programme (in addition to the Mindseye Courier) - another new American concept called;

Laser Light Therapy

The theory behind Laser Light Therapy is based on the acupuncture principle, (at this point it should be stressed that no needles are involved and the procedure is completely painless) and optional if the client so wishes.

Put in simple terms, a small beam of light is placed over the acupuncture points on the client's outer ear. By applying this, it enhances the production of the body's own natural endorphins (an anti-stress chemical that creates an elated feeling) which then increases the client's own will and determination to quit smoking or lose weight with little or no withdrawal symptoms.

Alan now uses these special audio and visual techniques as standard practice (naming it Fast Track Hypnosis) exclusive to Alan in the UK and Spain. This is to ensure that the client receives the best possible treatment available in a very fast and effective way.
